A head-on collision near Bowling Green, Ohio, injured a family of five from near Oak Harbor and killed the 16-year-old driver who caused the crash.
Five members of the Lutman family were injured in the head-on collision that took place on U.S. 6 in Wood County, according to the Toledo Blade. Amy Lutman, 35, was in critical condition, while her husband Ronald Lutman, and two of their daughters were in serious condition. The Lutman’s 2-year-old was treated and released.
Police said the accident happened when a 16-year-old driver attempted to pass a car in front of her that was traveling the 55 mph speed limit, according to the Blade.
