Three Fostoria women were treated at Blanchard Valley Hospital last week for personal injuries sustained by a car accident caused by a UPS driver, according to the Toledo Blade. The Toledo, Ohio personal injury attorneys at Charles E. Boyk Law Offices, LLC frequently see car accidents involving commercial vehicles, especially those resulting in personal injury.

Carol L. Berkley, Lynn A. Myers and Stephanie K. Loomis were struck in their car on September 20th, while traveling east on Route 613 in Van Buren. All three women were treated and released, and the crash remains under investigation.

Regardless of the type of accident you are involved in, it is a good idea to make and keep records of the incident, including taking pictures of visible injuries and property damage, obtaining a police report, and learning the identity of all witnesses to the crash. Seek medical attention immediately, even if you do not feel a lot of pain, and do not sign any medical authorizations requested by the insurance company before consulting an attorney. Do not be in a rush to settle your claim quickly. Take the necessary precautions to ensure your health and well being after an accident.
